At a glance
- Authorised checkout payments are collected immediately, not only at a campaign deadline.
- Completed pledges do not currently have a self-service cancellation or automatic goal-failure refund control.
- Submit a request with the campaign and payment reference. Never share a PIN, OTP, or full card details.
This summary helps you navigate. The full policy below explains the details.
1. Before a payment is completed
You may leave checkout before authorising payment. If you do not complete payment, a pending order is not a successful pledge. A temporary bank authorisation or an unsuccessful-payment debit should be checked with the payment provider and your bank before you try again.
2. After a successful payment
The present checkout captures payment when you authorise it. It does not defer all payments until the campaign ends. A completed pledge cannot currently be edited, reduced, or cancelled with a self-service button. Request a cancellation or refund through Support or the public support email and retain the payment reference.
Submitting a request does not itself reverse a payment, cancel the reward, or confirm a refund. Eligibility is assessed against the payment status, funding model, campaign commitments, reason for the request, payment-provider requirements, and applicable law.
3. Funding-model outcomes
For all-or-nothing campaigns, a missed goal is a cancellation/refund-review event under the goal-based campaign commitment; the creator must not disregard that commitment merely because checkout captured funds earlier. Report a missed-goal payment through Support so the payment and the applicable refund can be reviewed. WEEFUND does not currently provide an automatic goal-failure refund engine, so do not rely on an instant refund solely from the funding bar.
For flexible campaigns, not reaching the target does not by itself create a universal automatic refund. The creator must still use funds as disclosed, communicate changes, fulfil applicable commitments, and provide any remedy required by law or the campaign terms.
A campaign being marked funded is not a guarantee of reward delivery, and a campaign being paused, archived, or removed is not proof that payments have already been refunded.
4. Situations to report
Crowdfunding uncertainty does not give creators permission to mislead backers. Equally, a change of mind, a missed estimate, or a disappointing outcome does not automatically establish the same remedy in every case. We will assess the relevant facts and obligations rather than promise an unconditional refund for every claim.
- A duplicate, incorrect, unauthorised, or unsuccessful-payment debit.
- A paid pledge to an all-or-nothing campaign that did not meet its disclosed condition.
- A cancelled project, material misdescription, suspected fraud, or misuse of funds.
- A promised reward that is materially defective, not as described, not delivered, or substantially changed.
- A cancellation, shipping, charge, or other remedy provided by the campaign’s terms or applicable law.
5. How to submit a request
On-site requests receive a reference and can be reviewed in your account. Administrators may ask for proportionate supporting information and seek the creator’s or payment provider’s response. A support reply is not itself proof that a bank credit has completed.
- Choose Refund or payment in Support, or email gamingchuckchuck@gmail.com.
- Give the campaign URL, your account email, provider order/payment reference, payment date and amount, and a concise explanation of the issue.
- State the remedy you seek and identify relevant promises or communications.
- Do not attach identity PDFs, a full card number, a card security code, UPI PIN, banking password, or OTP.
6. Approved refunds and timing
Where a refund is approved and can be processed, it is requested through the authorised payment-provider route, normally to the original payment method. The provider, bank, payment type, currency, and the circumstances of the payment determine processing time. We communicate available status and references rather than promise an unverified fixed number of banking days.
If your original method is closed, the refund fails, or you cannot locate an approved credit, contact Support and the payment provider. Never supply a new bank account in response to an unverified message or pay a fee merely to unlock a refund.
Any treatment of transaction charges, taxes, shipping, or voluntary platform support must be disclosed and consistent with applicable law and provider terms. This policy does not make every charge automatically non-refundable or permit undisclosed deductions.
7. Creator and platform responsibilities
Creators remain responsible for their reward, delivery, defect, warranty, cancellation, refund, and related legal obligations. They must cooperate with legitimate payment and fulfilment enquiries and cannot remove obligations by closing an account.
WEEFUND may investigate platform activity, request records, restrict a problematic campaign, and assist with complaint routing. It does not insure the project or guarantee recovery from an insolvent or unreachable creator. Wefund Pvt Ltd remains responsible for its own duties imposed by applicable law.
8. Disputes and escalation
Raise unresolved concerns with Dhairya Sansi using the grievance details below. You may also use your bank’s or payment provider’s dispute process, a competent consumer forum, or another legally available complaint route. Deadlines for those routes may differ; do not assume a platform conversation extends them.
Account deletion, removal of a campaign, a typed risk acknowledgement, or a creator’s blanket “no refunds” statement does not extinguish non-excludable rights. Keep your receipt and relevant campaign communications.
